Maya Gerr graduated from Moscow Textile Academy in Russia where she attended Class of Tapestry at the Department of Applied Arts. She further studied Stage Design at Russian Theater Academy. Her experience covers tapestry, stage design, costume design and polygraphy.

Her recent paintings and watercolors include expressionism technique and decorative elements.
