There is a moment of transformation when scenery is transformed into a feeling and a vision. In my prints, I am more abstract. I start with an idea and express it in textures and colors. My prints are one-of-a-kind using montype, monoprint, or collagraph techniques. As a plein air painter, I start with a feeling and stay on site to capture the original moments. I incorporate lights, shadows, and complementary colors. I strive to bring the audience into the scene and to feel the original moment.
