My photographs are based on traditional black and white silver gelatin film negatives. However, in addition to traditional black and white silver printing, I also employ a variety of different processes, including lith printing, toning, and alternative/historical processes, such as cyanotype, and Van Dyke Brown printing, to modify the mood and appearance of the image. These processes allow me to get different colors, contrasts, and interpretations from the original negatives ...
