Statement:
I am a neo-surrealist painter in search of a new visual language through the use of pictorial image, color, and a never-ending experimentation with paint. Atypical scenarios intrigue me. The images I choose often co-habit with unexpected subjects, places or scenarios. My paintings are reinterpretations of life as I see it, often inspired by current events, social commentary or personal interactions. At times they are absurd or offer a touch of wit. Always they are seen through the filter of my own visual iconography.
